Andy Warhol's unforgettable images did not just reflect his soul; they reflected the culture around him. That's why he became known as "The Prince" or "The Pope" of Pop -- an art movement that blossomed in the US in the late 1950s. By 1968, Warhol had become a legend, producing thousands of images that turned popular everyday icons into popular works of art. Nothing was too sacred, too morbid or too mundane for a Warhol work.
