Jonas Brothers
It's a novelty, but it's true: The Jonas Brothers are really brothers. Kevin, Joe and Nick's musical adventure began in 1998 with the discovery of Nick's singing talent when he was only six. In 2005, Kevin and Joe were on board and the Jonas Brothers band was on its way with Columbia records.
Then came their popular releases: "Mandy," "Time for Me to Fly," and "It's About Time." In 2007, the brothers signed with Hollywood Records, and their third studio album, "A Little Bit Longer," was released in August 2008. Currently, the group is working on a movie with Disney, which is scheduled for release in 2009.
Bob Dylan
Robert Allen Zimmerman was born May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota, where he grew up listening to music on the radio. After he entered college at the University of Minnesota, he fell in love with folk music, traded in his electric guitar for the acoustic variety, and began performing under the name of Bob Dylan.
Early on, Dylan became involved in social activism, writing his music to underscore his point and his passion. His most famous song, Blowin' in the Wind, became a worldwide hit for Peter, Paul and Mary in the 1960s. Today, he continues to tour, write and sing, releasing a new album in July 2008: Tell Tale Signs: Rare And Unreleased 1989-2006.
